Great 2nd show and thought the discussion about the article was great! I totally agree that they should have showcased couples who are together and have kids and not the good looking ones who are no longer together!

ReplyDeleteThis was a really great episode—GL parenting issues are so seldom discussed. I went and got the article while you guys were talking (Google is my friend…) and I thought it was great. I think it's generally true that "ordinary" people are often overlooked by the media generally, so in that sense, gay media aren't completely different. The difference, I think, is that it seems to do it more often. What I'm not sure about is whether the gay—especially gay male—community reflects the sallowness of our media or the other way around. Thoughts?
